2. What we collect
If you only browse or download: our server and security tools process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use it to keep the site working, to stop abuse, and to count downloads fairly.
If you create an account: your username, email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash, never as plain text).
If you submit a utility: the details you enter (name, description, version, license, developer name, optional website) and the files you upload. Your developer name is shown publicly on your utility page. Your email address is never shown publicly.
If you report a utility: the message you send and, to prevent abuse, technical data such as your IP address.
3. Why we use it
To run the site, review and publish submissions, answer reports, send account and submission emails, keep the site secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to log you in and keep the site working. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
5. Files you upload
Uploaded program files are kept in a private storage area and are served only through our download system after a submission is approved. You can delete your own submissions at any time from the My Utilities page.
6. Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run the site (for example our hosting and email providers), or when the law requires it. Our hosting provider may store data on servers outside your country.
7. How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is active. Report messages and technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and review. You can ask us to delete your account and data.
8. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data by emailing admin@philose.com. We will reply as soon as we reasonably can.
9. Children
The site is not meant for children under 13. Please do not create an account if you are under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page.
