Thank you for sharing your utility. Please read these rules before you submit.
What you can submit
Small desktop programs for Windows or macOS that you made, or that you are allowed to distribute (for example under an open-source license). Allowed file types: zip, exe, msi, dmg and pkg. Distribution on Philose is free of charge for users.
What is not allowed
Malware, spyware, adware, cryptominers, hidden data collection, bundled third-party offers, cracked or pirated software, license key generators, anything that breaks the law or other people’s rights, and misleading descriptions.
How review works
- Create a free account and log in.
- Fill in the submission form (name, description, platform, version, license, category) and upload your file. A screenshot is optional.
- Your utility waits for review. We check the details and scan the file before approving it.
- You get an email when it is published. You can see the status on the My Utilities page.
Limits
You can have up to 5 utilities waiting for review and submit up to 3 per day.
Good practice
- Describe honestly what your utility does and which systems it supports.
- Sign your Windows installers and notarize macOS apps when you can; it avoids scary warnings for users.
- Keep your version number and notes up to date.
Reports and removal
Anyone can report a utility. We may unpublish or remove a utility at any time. You can delete your own submissions from the My Utilities page.
